Welcome to Cottage on the Hill, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! Nestled on a private wooded lot less than 1 mile from downtown Ephraim, this charming retreat offers the perfect balance of convenience and seclusion. Spend your days exploring Ephraim's shops, restaurants, galleries, and waterfront.
Designed for families and small groups, this beautifully updated home comfortably sleeps up to six guests with three bedrooms and refreshed interior. Outside, you'll find a spacious backyard complete with yard games, including corn hole and giant Jenga, plus a patio with seating for six.

This home is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors and municipal restrictions, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, weddings, or other gatherings.
Getting Around:
Just 0.8 miles from downtown Ephraim, Cottage on the Hill offers easy access to the village's shops, restaurants, and waterfront attractions. Please note that the route includes a fairly steep hill, so while the distance is walkable, many guests find driving or biking to be more comfortable-especially on the return trip to the house as you will be walking uphill on the return.
Other Things to Note:
Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:
• Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)
• A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
• PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

This place was fantastic! It’s conveniently located close to just about everything, making it easy to explore the area. We stayed very active and were away most of the day, so it was wonderful to come back each evening to a clean, comfortable home with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and a relaxing space to unwind.The outdoor area was beautiful, private, and peaceful. We even saw quite a bit of wildlife, which made it feel even more special. The grill was a nice bonus as well.Although we didn’t end up cooking many meals, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we would have needed, including plenty of appliances, cookware, and utensils.We would absolutely recommend this property and would happily stay here again.
