About this house rental
“Harbor House” is a fifth generation family summer home located on 1.2 acres of waterfront
property in Ephraim, WI. It features four bedrooms, three full baths, sleeps eight and all rooms
in the house have a water view. Our family has occupied the house every summer since 1915.
All of us agree the summer wouldn’t be complete without a stay in Harbor House. New docks
provide a harbor for access to the water for swimming and boating. The large deck facing the
water is ideal for outdoor dining, sunbathing, watching water activities, or taking a nap!
Horseshoe and Chambers Island, in addition to Ephraim’s Eagle Bluff, provide the perfect
backdrop for our famous, glorious sunsets. A camera is a must!

First Floor:
The living room/dining area and kitchen feature an open floor plan with a walkout from the living room
to the deck. Included are a TV/DVR and a gas “pot belly” stove for cozy times if the weather turns
cool. The adjoining kitchen has updated appliances (a new refrigerator and dishwasher in 2016), a
coffee maker, microwave, and toaster oven. The kitchen opens to a pantry closet for food and storage.
A hallway leads from the living room to a full size bath, which includes a second doorway to the deck
for access into the house with wet swim suits. There are tow bedrooms on the first floor, the first with
a queen bed, and a large master suite with a king bed and full bath.
Second Floor:
A quaint dormer bedroom is the only room unchanged from the original house. It features twin beds
and is perfect for children, although it can also accommodate adults. There is a full bath, which leads
to a second, large master bedroom with a king bed and reading alcove. This is a beautiful spot in the
tree tops for some quiet time! A large family room with built in desk, game table, and TV complete the
second floor.

Great location on the waterfront. Gorgeous views and nestled in the trees. Lot of space, opportunity for both communal gatherings and also privacy. One minute from downtown Ephraim, few minutes from Peninsula State Park. My entire family loved this place.

It was A LOVELY space for our family to enjoy time together. Home was warm, inviting and comfortable. Well stocked with random kitchen items. Comfortable beds. Plenty of linens/towels etc. BREATHTAKING property. Unfortunately the weather was not optimal for us to enjoy the outdoor space fully, but the view available in every room was incredible. The freezing cold weather did not stop our knucklehead teens from jumping into the lake. They thoroughly appreciated the door directly into the bathroom and immediate access to a warm shower. Thankful for this wonderful weekend.

Very nice! Beautiful view and gorgeous sunsets! Four couples stayed very comfortably on this roomy home. Granted one bedroom was twin beds, but that was understood as one couple agreed to that up front.
