Anook Hotel Nowon Sanggye

The front desk staff were friendly and provided good service. However, there are several important drawbacks to consider before booking this hotel. Located in a love motel district in Sanggye-dong, this property appears to cater primarily to couples who rent rooms for a few hours rather than guests staying overnight. As a result, check-in is not available until 8:00 PM, which is extremely inconvenient for travelers, especially those planning to stay for several nights. The room was also exceptionally small. While it might be adequate for couples looking for a place to spend a few hours, it is far from comfortable for travelers on a multi-day trip. There is virtually no space to store personal belongings, and bringing in even one or two suitcases leaves very little room to move around. The lack of storage space makes an extended stay particularly inconvenient. Housekeeping was another major disappointment. The room appeared to receive only minimal cleaning, with the bed being straightened but other areas neglected. The bathroom floor was dirty, and the inside of the toilet had clearly not been cleaned properly. The housekeeping staff also appeared to have difficulty communicating in both Korean and English, which could make it challenging to address any concerns. Overall, while the front desk staff were courteous and helpful, the late check-in time, extremely small rooms, lack of storage space, and inadequate housekeeping significantly detracted from the experience. This property may be suitable for a short stay of a few hours, but I would not recommend it to travelers looking for comfortable accommodations for several nights.
