The “Küstendeck” vacation rental is located on the 3rd and top floor (attic) of a well-maintained apartment building in a quiet outskirt of Travemünde.
Right in front of the building is a bus stop for Line 38 (Alfred-Hagelstein-Str.). This line stops at the Strandbahnhof and the ferry terminal (Priwall car ferry), among other places.
Thanks to its location, the Küstendeck offers many opportunities for leisure activities and exploring the attractions of Travemünde and the surrounding area. You can go for walks along the nearby Brodten cliffs, take bike rides along the coast, or simply go for a swim or relax by the sea and on the beach. If you’d like, after a walk along the beautifully landscaped beach and Trave promenade, you can enjoy the lively atmosphere in the front row with its various restaurants and shopping options.
Apartment, shower, toilet, living/sleeping area:
The Küstendeck vacation apartment is a bright one-room studio (34 square meters) with a combined living and sleeping area, located on the 3rd and top floor of a larger apartment building —ideal for up to 2 adults.
The building entrance is at ground level. The apartment can be reached by elevator or via the staircase: From the elevator, go straight through the glass door and then take the last apartment door on the left side of the hallway.
The apartment features
• a kitchenette in the living area with a built-in 2-burner ceramic cooktop, coffee maker, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle, and microwave with grill and steam functions
• a living area with a sleeper sofa (sleeping surface 1.90 x 1.45 m), TV, radio, and DVD player
• a sleeping alcove separated by curtains with a double bed (two separate mattresses, total size 160 cm x 200 cm, open at the foot); the bed can only be accessed from one side
• a bathroom with a shower and toilet
• a dining area with a dining table and 2 chairs
• a spacious balcony (south/west-facing) plus a 20 m² rooftop terrace (2 wicker armchairs, 1 table, 2 sun loungers)
On-site costs: Bed linens, final cleaning, Wi-Fi, and an underground parking space (no electric charging available) are included. Towels can be added for a one-time fee of €40 per booking—please specify this in advance! The following will then be provided: 1 shower towel per person, 2 small hand towels per person, 1 guest towel per person, 2 dish towels, 1 shower mat. This is a non-smoking apartment; pets are not allowed. Washing machines and dryers in the communal basement can be used with euro coins. You’ll find important and helpful information, as well as the house rules, in a folder inside the vacation rental. Terms of Use for Wi-Fi in This Vacation Rental: In addition to the services listed, this accommodation also includes access to Wi-Fi. Please note that by using the Wi-Fi in the vacation rental for the first time, you agree to the landlord’s terms of use. Furthermore, availability or a minimum bandwidth cannot be guaranteed. The relevant terms and conditions, as well as the current password for Wi-Fi access, are available in the vacation rental. The vacation rental includes an underground parking space marked “Apartment No. 60/Parking Space No. 47.” This space is located in the rear half of the underground garage. The entrance to the underground garage is located to the left of the building’s main entrance, across the parking lot. The lock is located directly at the entrance on the left side in the white wall (not at the bottom in front of the gate!). The lock must be operated using the key provided. Bicycle parking is available outside the building.Tourist Tax: The tourist tax is not included in the final price (invoice amount) of the booking! Cancellation: You may cancel the contract free of charge up to 30 days before the start of the rental period. We would particularly like to draw your attention to Travemünde Week—the second-largest sailing event in the world—which always takes place at the end of July. Please check for the exact date.
