Welcome to your tropical getaway at the lush Ramda Port Douglas. Nestled in the heart of the stunning North Queensland, our studio apartment offers comfortable accommodation for an unforgettable stay.
Whether you`re here for the vibrant marine life, the world-renowned Great Barrier Reef, or the Daintree Rainforest - Ramada Resort and Spa provides the ideal base for couples and families.
Our privately owned top (3rd) floor studio apartment at Ramada Resort and Spa includes:
🥣 Kitchenette: With appliances suitable to prepare breakfast & lunch - Microwave, kettle, toaster, electric fry pan and refrigerator. The only sink is in the bathroom to wash dishes.

🖥 40-inch flat-screen television - connect to your subscriptions using Chromecast.
🛁 Private bathroom, shower and bath with complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We provide a set of towels for each guest (bath towel & pool towel).

The local convenience store will have any additional supplies you may need during your stay.

🏡 Town:
Port, as it`s known to locals - is a foodie haven with cafés, bars and elegant restaurants. We recommend Sassi Cucina e Bar and Seabean Tapas. For a fancy night out check out Nautilus. Finish your night at Jimmy Rum`s Mixing Lounge for a cocktail. A superb all-day breakfast, try local hotspot Café Fresq in the heart of town on Macrossan Street. It is here that you`ll also find the landmark Court House Hotel. The Courty, as it has become affectionately known, is the oldest pub in Port Douglas and a much-loved local drinking spot.
🌊 Great Barrier Reef:
Explore the Coral with the natural surroundings of the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef lends itself to the best in outdoor experiences. There are plenty of day trips to choose from.
🌲 Daintree Rainforest:
The Daintree Rainforest is the oldest, and arguably the most scenic, living rainforest on Earth. Its beauty provided inspiration for the Hollywood blockbuster Avatar and it is just a 90-minute drive from Port Douglas. A range of tours and experiences are on offer here, including 4WD tours, crocodile-spotting river cruises, zipline tours through the canopy and jungle night nature walks.
🏞 Mossman Gorge:
Located inside the Daintree Rainforest, Mossman Gorge is a wonder in itself. Mint green waters swish past the huge granite boulders that line the gorge, creating cool, clear, freshwater swimming holes – and lots of Instagram pics.
✈️ Airport transfer buses can deliver you straight to Ramada lobby from $80 return and takes 1 hour. Best to book in advance, I recommend Krystal Transport and Exempler.
🚌 Local bus shuttles pull up every 10-15 minutes to take you into Port Douglas town centre. Tour buses also pick you up from Ramada Lobby for the day`s outings.
🚙 If you are hiring a car there is a large car park in front of the foyer and around the left side of the A Block.
🚴🏽♂️ Bicycle hire is available through Ramada reception for you to ride along the beach or along the bike tracks into the village centre.
🏃🏾It’s about at 40-45 min (3.6km) walk to the Main Street of Port Douglas. The walk along 4 Mile Beach is lovely. There is another walk around the headland that we recommend called the 4 Mile Beach Cliff walk. You can view the Flagstaff Hill Look Out from here.
🚘 Parking: If you are hiring a car there is a car park in front of the reception and around the left side of ‘A’ Block. Or there is plenty of safe on-street parking.
🛄 Luggage storage: Luggage storage is not available. You are welcome to relax in the restaurant and pool areas if you arrive early.
🚫 Parties/Events: Strictly no parties or events.
🚭 Non-smoking: Strictly no smoking in the room.
Sofa bed can be made up upon request for families with children. Please provide notice to have this bed made.
