The Mermaid Cottage is a beloved local home that has recently partnered with 34 North Vacations for professional management.
Like many small business owners, the homeowner's success led to new opportunities and increased demands on her time. As her restaurant business grew, she made the decision to bring in our boutique property management team to ensure guests continue to receive the level of service this special home deserves.

We understand some previous reviews mentioned concerns regarding communication, cleanliness, and missing amenities. Since taking over management, we have implemented our standard 34 North Vacations processes, including enhanced housekeeping procedures, pre-arrival inspections, and dedicated guest support.

A refundable security deposit is required for this property.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Weather, illness, family emergencies, travel delays, and other unforeseen circumstances can occur, and we strictly adhere to our cancellation policy.
Pet Policy
Dogs may be permitted with prior approval and payment of a non-refundable pet fee.
Approved pets must:
• Be current on rabies vaccinations
• Be on a flea and tick preventative
• Be fully house-trained
• Never be left unattended unless securely crated
• Have all pet waste properly disposed of
Unauthorized pets may result in additional fees and/or removal from the property.

For the safety and security of our guests and the property, exterior security cameras are installed and actively recording outdoor areas only.

• No parties or events
