Royal suite Minerva

Received a text prior to check-in with a picture of the lockbox location and instructions. Very clear and simple to follow. Excellent central location. Such a clean apartment and loads of space. There in a mini shop/market very close which was handy for snacks etc for the apartment. Pace of life in alghero is lovely and slow. Siesta roughly 12 to 4 but a lot does still stay open. Not much of a breakfast culture but loads of dinner and lunch options. Evening meals generally start from 630pm onwards. Icecream parlours very nearby too. Overall it was a lovely place to stay.

Small detail but I prefer to hold my keys for my trip. So a second set would have been helpful. We had to use the lockbox every time you entered or exited, in case we decided to do seperate things etc. Just a tip...bring an insulated water bottle. We found it hard to just grab a drink walking around but some places had water fountains you could fill up your bottle with. Plenty of places to sit and drink but they mainly focused on serving food.

Great location, in the middle of the old town, good contact with the agency (mostly only via whatsapp), newly renovated, clean apartment. We had opportunity to check in earlier. After discovering broken electric kettle, it was replaced the next day, also agency actioned immediately after ceiling leakage caused by a neighbour.

Only basic utensils and kitchen accessories were provided, we were missing some proper knife. We had to organize also shopping and buy basic toiletries, which was uncomfortable and generated extra high cost - like hand soap, shower gel, laundry liquid, toilet paper, kitchen paper and also liquid for washing dishes (hope next guests will enjoy them!) Also very problematic was power outage that we had multiple times per day, even with two devices working at the same time, however that’s the old building.
