Villa Jua Bahari - Zanzibar

We had a really lovely stay at Villa Jua Bahari. We were looking for a private villa and having the whole place to ourselves was exactly what we wanted. The villa has a beautiful Zanzibar feel, with a lovely garden and lots of privacy. We especially loved the upstairs room under the thatched roof, opening onto the terrace with a beautiful view. The location was also great. We enjoyed walking on the beach and around the neighbourhood, which has a nice lively feeling and where you really get to experience the village of Jambiani. Majaliwa was very kind and took good care of us. Breakfast was something we really looked forward to every morning — coffee or tea, fresh fruit juice, a beautiful tropical fruit plate, eggs the way we liked them, and every day a different Zanzibar speciality to discover. We felt very comfortable during our stay and really enjoyed our time there. A great place to experience Jambiani in a more private and authentic way.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Jua Bahari. The magic of this place is simply being able to live right on the beach, with the ocean always in front of you, the sea breeze around you and the most beautiful sunrises over the water. The villa has a wonderful, authentic Zanzibari charm. We loved the beautiful shell decorations made from shells collected on the beach, the enchanting garden and, above all, the large sea-view terrace where we spent so many happy family moments over long lunches, enjoying the view and each other’s company. Everything feels romantic, natural and wonderfully removed from everyday life. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need, and the beds are very comfortable. And a special mention to Majaliwa, who was always so kind, smiling and attentive, doing everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. For what we paid, having an entire villa right on the beach is quite exceptional. It is not about fancy or polished luxury, but about authenticity, beauty and being close to nature. We absolutely recommend Villa Jua Bahari and would happily come back.

Les chambres sont grandes, le lit confortable, le concierge très disponible et attentif.

Absence de salon (living room) ou se retrouver en groupe devant la télé par exemple, petit déjeuner pas varié. Difficile d’accès, vaut mieux arranger avec eux dès le départ pour le transfert car notre chauffeur privé a tourné près de 30 minutes autour avant de retrouver le logement.
