Vakantiehuisje redelijk oud, maar na een ingrijpende renovatie weer geheel up to date gemaakt met moderne voorzieningen en blijkbaar pas korte tijd op de verhuurmarkt. Juist omdat het een wat ouder huisje betreft wat meer terrein rondom. (Landal, Topparken etc. trek hier lering uit: vakantiehuurders willen niet bij hun buren naar binnen kijken) Het Drents Friese Wold begint direct achter het huisje en de gezellige dorpjes Diever en Dwingeloo liggen op slechts enkele minuten rijden met de auto.

De instructies voor de gebruikers van het huisje hadden wat korter en bondiger kunnen zijn, maar waarschijnlijk goed bedoeld.
