We are located in a quiet and safe 1950s neighborhood, close to downtown, Historic Encanto park/golf course, direct access to both the I-10 and I-17 freeways, and only 8 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
The Encanto Estates neighborhood was the first mid-century master planned community in the Phoenix Metro area. Encanto Estates was designed to incorporate the Encanto golf course, Encanto Park, Encanto pool, and tennis/ pickleball, basketball, and beach volleyball courts. The golf course is less than a mile away and the park is 1 mile away. We are also located approximately 10 minutes from ASU’s downtown campus, Creighton University, and Grand Canyon University. We are less than a mile from St. Joseph’s Hospital and Barrow Neurological Institute. We are also very close to Phoenix children’s Hospital and Banner University Hospital.
The space
The Scandinavian décor was inspired by our heritage, bringing pops of red to the warm and sunny space. The kitchen features a blackboard wall to express your creative inspirations.
The space was intentionally designed to bring the outdoors in, with two sets of double French doors and three windows to provide ample light. All windows have movable coverings to control light and privacy.
The Urban Green House features a second and separate VRBO on the spacious property- The Main House. The Main House has exclusive access to the front yard, while the Garden House has exclusive access to the side patio, back patio, and garage. Both homes share garden access and access to the chicken coop.
Great for a quiet getaway, or for a jumping point to explore the Valley of the Sun. The space comfortably accommodates two people.
Guest access
Garden House Guests have exclusive access to the garage (washer, dryer, full sized refrigerator), 2 patios, and a fire pit. The gardens and chickens are shared between The Main House and the Garden House.
Guests use a lockbox to retrieve a key. Reference the attached photo. A private code will be issued upon check in (in the check in instructions).
Free, easy, and shaded parking: Adjacent off-street parking is available for one vehicle, with ample on-street parking for additional vehicles. Guest are also welcome to park in the garage.
Other things to note
The kitchen is equipped with a cooktop and oven, small refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishes, utensils, glasses, wine glasses, a bottle opener, coffee mugs, cookware, dish soap, and dish towels.
The bathroom is stocked with fresh towels and washcloths, a hair dryer, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and toilet paper.
Guests have access to a washer, dryer, and a full sized refrigerator in the garage. Laundry soap is provided.
Weekly cleaning service is available upon request ($50)
Guests with children are welcome to use our toys, pack-n-play, and portable highchair. Please contact the hosts to coordinate details.
