About this house rental

You live in a historic townhouse that has just turned 100 years old. Designed by Thorkild Henningsen and built in the “Bedre Byggeskik” style, the house is part of Denmark’s first garden city, inspired by the English “House & Garden” movement. The area includes the iconic Bakkehuse around Rødkilde Plads.

The house is spacious, bright, and inviting, featuring natural building materials and original details carefully preserved. Personal touches, art, books, and handicrafts characterize the interior. You have direct access to the garden from both the kitchen and the sunroom. In the attic, you’ll find a children’s room with plenty of toys.

The small garden features fruit trees and flowering perennials, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and watch the butterflies. A charming path runs the full length of the row houses and provides an alternative entrance to the home.

You can walk to Utterslev Mose, visit hipster bars like Auto Poul, or dine at Gaza Grill. The Nordvest neighborhood buzzes with creativity, featuring cafés, natural wine shops, and concert venues. All of Copenhagen’s culture and architecture is within easy reach.
