Relax in the heart of unspoilt nature, in a charming country house, authentically restored and dating from 1860.
Located in the heart of nature, within the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park, the house is located in the magnificent Cheylade Valley, one of the five valleys that surround the majestic Puy Mary, culminating at 1,789 meters.
Independent and quiet, near a small stream, it offers an ideal setting to recharge your batteries with family or friends. You will enjoy a beautiful rose garden of 1,000 m², perfectly exposed to the sun, as well as two terraces, at the front and back of the house.
Facing south, the façade benefits from beautiful light throughout the day and a pleasant sunset in the evening.
The house
Very warm and full of character, this beautiful landhuis from 1860 has been carefully restored in a rural, authentic and comfortable spirit. The materials have been tastefully chosen: natural stone flooring in the living area, solid oak floors in the bedrooms, vintage designer furniture, recent quality bedding and all modern comforts.
In winter, the two high-efficiency wood-burning stoves create a particularly intimate and warm atmosphere, ideal for quiet stays by the fire.
The house has three bedrooms on the first floor, as well as an additional sleeping area in summer in the old hay barn, under the magnificent exposed framework. This space, more rustic and not designed like a real classic room, includes a double bed and a bunk bed. You can hear the murmur of the nearby river, in a simple, rural and charming atmosphere. Children and teenagers often love this adventurous place to sleep.
During the day, this room can get hot in summer, but it cools down pleasantly in the evening thanks to the altitude of the house, which is about 1,100 meters, where the nights remain mild and breathable.
