About this chalet rental
While we don’t allow cooking on site, we provide a microwave, toaster, fridge, and tea and coffee facilities for your convenience.
We have lived in Blean for most of our lives and are deeply involved in the local community. We love gardening, the outdoors, and environmental projects. Our home reflects these values, with solar power, an air source heat pump, and a rainwater harvesting system.
Location & Transport Canterbury West station is just 3.3 miles away, offering High Speed services to St Pancras International—with onward connections to Paris and Europe. Dover (ferry) and Folkestone (Eurotunnel) are also within easy reach for short trips across the Channel.
About Blean & the Surrounding Area Blean is known for its ancient woodland and the RSPB nature reserve. The Crab and Winkle Way, part of National Cycle Route 1, links Canterbury to Whitstable along the route of the world’s first passenger railway. Whitstable’s lively high street, beachfront, and famous oysters are close by, as is the historic cathedral city of Canterbury. Both are easily reached by bus, on foot, or by bicycle. The University of Kent is only a few miles away.
There is no shortage of places to eat in both Canterbury and Whitstable, and our village pub—The Hare, an award winning favourite—offers excellent food and a friendly, cosy atmosphere.
