The Bothy is a single-storey studio in St Abbs, Scottish Borders. The accommodation consists of an open‑plan living space with kitchen, dining area and living area with Freeview TV and a king-size sectional sleeper bed. There is also a shower room with cubicle shower and WC. The kitchen includes an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. WiFi, fuel and power, and bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is off-road parking for 1 car. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. The Lighthouse Bothy forms part of a historic set of lighthouse buildings set atop the clifftops of St Abbs Head, offering guests a scenic base close to coastal walks, wildlife viewing areas, the village of St Abbs and Coldingham Bay. This property has a good housekeeping bond of 150 GBP.

Diving can be enjoyed from the harbour, while the nearby St Abb's Head National Nature Reserve has a rich variety of wildlife and is a paradise for birdwatchers! An ideal location for walks - the Cheviots, Scottish Borders and the spectacular coastline all offer excellent walking. There is a safe, sandy beach 3 miles away in nearby Coldingham, which is very popular with surfers. The historic fortified Border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, with shops, a museum and a castle, is nearby, and is well worth a visit. Holy Island, the Farne Islands, the attractive seaside villages of Craster, Eyemouth and Seahouses, and Edinburgh, capital city of Scotland, are all within touring distance.
