Tucked into the pines just south of Breckenridge, this log cabin trades the bustle of Main Street for something quieter — a true mountain retreat where the soundtrack is wind through the trees and the occasional crackle of the firepit. Rough-hewn timber walls, soaring ceilings, and big windows frame the kind of views you came to Colorado for, while open-concept living spaces invite everyone to gather without anyone feeling on top of each other.

The main level is built for togetherness. A stone fireplace anchors the living room, the kitchen flows into a dining area with seating for the whole crew, and glass doors open onto an expansive deck where the air is sharp and clean and the mountains stretch out in every direction. Soak in the private hot tub after a day on the slopes or trails, fire up the BBQ as the sun drops behind the ridgeline, and pull up a chair around the firepit when the stars come out — they get _loud_ up here.

Three bedrooms sleep six in beds — a king primary plus two queens — and two queen sleeper sofas tucked into the living spaces bring the total to ten. Multiple lounging areas, plenty of windows pulling in light and scenery, and warm wood finishes throughout make it easy to spread out, settle in, and lose track of what day it is.

Location-wise, you're in a sweet spot. The town of Blue River sits just minutes south of Breckenridge, which means quick access to skiing, dining, and shopping on Main Street without paying the price of staying in the thick of it. Quandary Peak — one of Colorado's most accessible 14ers — is practically next door for hikers chasing summits in the warmer months. Trailheads, alpine lakes, and forest roads are scattered all around, and when you're ready to head back to a fire, a hot tub, and a quiet deck, the cabin is right there waiting.

- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Please note that your home is equipped with a Pack'n'Play and High Chair.

Parking Details:
- Free on-site parking is available at the top of the driveway or in front of the garage.
- The City of Blue River allows a maximum of 3 vehicles.
- Do not park on the road or block the neighbor’s driveway—violations may result in towing at the guest’s expense.
- During winter, park at the top of the driveway due to the steep slope and possible snow/ice; 4WD or AWD is strongly recommended.
- While the space may physically fit 4–6 vehicles depending on size and season, the 3-vehicle city limit must be followed

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
