Colourful holiday home on Rügen Island

Rügen is a beautiful German island in the Baltic Sea, known for its miles of sandy beaches and white chalk cliffs. In the Jasmund National Park you can find pristine beech forests and watch sea eagles or enjoy the sweeping views over the sea from the Kaiserstuhl. Not far from the Kaiserstuhl is the colorful thatched-roof villa of Frank and his family.

The interior is decorated in Scandinavian style, with white and light-colored wooden elements, self-made furniture and bold colors on the walls. The three bedrooms, one of which has two single beds, can accommodate a total of 6 people. This makes the vacation villa a great place for families or a vacation with friends. The house has everything you need for families: from high chairs and cribs to board games and many excursion destinations in the area.

A highlight on the second floor is the spacious sauna, from whose window you can look out into the old chestnut tree in the garden. The well-equipped, high-quality kitchen is ideal for cooking together and the large dining table (built by Frank's son) invites you to enjoy long meals and hours of conversation. In summer, you can sit on the garden terrace, have a barbecue or snuggle up in the beach chair and lose track of time.

If you do want to leave the house, the surrounding area offers you everything you could wish for from a vacation in the countryside. The Rügen cliffs are just around the corner, because a long walk on the beach is the best medicine against everyday stress. Or you can visit the national park and try out some of the many hiking and cycling trails on Rügen.
