    I had a good experience staying at Joey’s by the Ganges, particularly because I stayed in one of their loft-style studios. The studio had some really practical facilities—you get an air fryer and an induction, so it’s quite easy to make a quick breakfast or a simple meal yourself. I also liked the layout of the loft. There’s a little living/entertainment space downstairs, while the bedroom is upstairs, which creates a nice separation between your chilling space and your personal/resting space. The washroom was good and the water pressure was absolutely fine. The only issue I had was with the sink—the water wasn’t draining properly and would collect in the basin every time we opened the tap. We requested twice for someone to come and take a look, but unfortunately it wasn’t resolved during our stay. They seemed to be a very busy team of young people managing the property, so I understand how something like this may have slipped through. A special mention to Vasu, who was genuinely kind and helpful from the moment we checked in until we left. He also gave us useful local recommendations and was just generally lovely to deal with. Overall, I would definitely recommend Joey’s by the Ganges, especially if you have a slightly bigger budget and want something more comfortable than a basic hotel room. If you like the idea of staying in a loft, having your own little space, and being able to make your own breakfast or quick meals, it’s a really good option. A few small maintenance issues aside, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
