About this villa rental
Welcome to Castaway The Day! We're back! We have done some exciting updates during our 18 month hiatus, that have been recently completed and new for the 2026 season! New flooring throughout the entire unit, updated kitchen with new cabinetry, Marble countertops, backsplash, new faucets, updated lighting, and new kitchen appliances. We also spruced up each of the bedrooms with new bedroom furniture and fresh new bedding! Each bathroom has also had new mirrors, lighting, and faucets added. The unit has been recently given a fresh coat of paint from top to bottom and several old windows have been replaced.
Sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on our new patio furniture! The sea breeze on the ocean-facing balcony with new outdoor furniture or take the shortest walk to the oceanfront pool, beach access and tiki bar! Located on the quiet, upscale west end of Ocean Isle Beach. The complex is part of Islander Villas, one of the newer accommodations on the island. Each building includes 6 Villas and an elevator. Our Villa includes access to a large oceanfront pool at the Isles Beach Club. There are balconies located in the front and back of the Villa.
One of the biggest advantages of our Villa is that it is the closest Villa in the entire Islander Resort to the oceanfront pool, Tiki Bar and La Volte restaurant at the Isles Beach Club.
This spacious 1,700 sqft Villa features 4 well-appointed bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom and 9ft ceilings throughout. With plenty of room to sleep 12, our Villa includes 2 king, 2 queens and 2 full beds. The Master Bedroom includes one king bed. The attached master bath includes dual vanity sinks with a jetted tub/shower combo. The second master bedroom includes one king bed, and a bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Bedroom 3 includes one queen, one full bed and a bathroom with shower. Bedroom 4 has one queen bed and one full bed with an attached bathroom with shower.
We have made some significant upgrades within the Villa including:
Remodeled kitchen
New stainless refrigerator
New stainless microwave
New stainless stove

Lovely condo with great floor plan and location. Owner was super responsive! Beds were comfortable, kitchen well set up and living areas inviting.

We enjoyed ourselves, it was like being at home, everything you need is at your fingertips. It only took me 5 years to get this place but it worth the wait. We are booking 2 more stays right. Thank you to the owners for having a nice place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. Condo was very clean and well stocked. We cooked all our meals, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this villa because it was clean, easily accessible and very well stocked but there are a few things future renters may benefit from knowing. There is a hot tub listed in the Pool & Spa section of amenities. When we attempted to turn it on and get in it, we were told by an Islander Villas employee that the hot tub hasn't worked in years. We were also disappointed to find that the pool closed at 7pm daily and even more disappointed in the tiki bar. The service was a disaster, if you could get any service, the drinks were the worst of any we had this week, and it closed at 530pm daily. Also, it should be noted that you're only allowed to use the shibumi shade on the beach. We set up a 4 post canopy for shade and was told to take it down by beach patrol, they claimed because of safety reasons but it made no sense whatsoever. The house was clean, very roomy and well stocked although we were surprised it didn't have crab crackers and dish towels, luckily we were able to do w/o the crackers and we brought our own dish towels. The master bedroom with the separate a/c had a strange smell but the a/c filters were clean. All in all we had a great vacation with great weather - Hurricane Debby wreaked havoc after we left. I would recommend this condo.
