About this apartment rental
Welcome to Slow Haus - a thoughtfully curated two-story loft stay in the heart of Tanunda, designed for slowing down, settling in, and enjoying the best of Barossa living.
Inspired by slow living and thoughtfully layered interiors, Slow Haus brings together relaxed Barossa living and playful boutique design - with warm tones, natural textures, statement pieces, and inviting spaces designed for slow mornings, shared meals, board games, and unhurried evenings.
Tucked away on a quiet street just behind Tanunda’s Main Street, you’re perfectly positioned to wander to local cafés, restaurants, wine bars, cellar doors, and boutique shopping - while still feeling like you’ve escaped the pace of everyday life.
The loft comfortably accommodates up to four guests across two upstairs bedrooms, featuring two king beds, both styled with quality bedding for a beautifully restful stay. Upstairs you’ll also find the main bathroom with a rain shower, thoughtful amenities, an additional toilet, and laundry facilities for convenience.
Downstairs, the open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area has been designed as a welcoming place to gather - whether that’s slow mornings with coffee, in house lunches, or cosy evenings in. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including an induction cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and full-sized fridge.
Settle into the lounge with Smart TV and complimentary WiFi, or switch off completely with the collection of board games and puzzles curated for slower moments.
Outside, two private outdoor spaces offer options for every season - a sheltered courtyard for cosy afternoons and an open-air area perfect for soaking up the Barossa sunshine with a glass of local wine in hand.
Whether you’re here for a romantic weekend, a getaway with friends, or a relaxed wine-country escape, Slow Haus is your place to unwind.
Guests have exclusive access to the entire property.

Slow Haus has a peaceful feel and vibe. It's perfect for 2 couples. We loved how thoughtfully appointed the place was; from the kitchen utensils and crockery; to the throw rugs which kept us warm as we sat chatting on the couch with a glass of red wine in hand; to the make up remover cloths in the bathroom and the umbrella and string bags provided for our use during the stay. The place was so clean and tidy. The two bedrooms were great with comfortable mattresses and luxurious sheets. We found all the instructions really helpful. I'd highly recommend Slow Haus as our hosts did a great job.
