About this apartment rental
You’re a short walk from:
Hove Station (approx. 5 minutes) — direct trains to London and Gatwick
The seafront (approx. 10 minutes) — ideal for walks along the promenade
Local cafés, restaurants, pubs and supermarkets — all within a few minutes on foot
Central Brighton, including The Lanes and North Laine, is around a 30-40 minute walk or a short bus ride, so you can easily dip into the busier parts of the city and then come back to somewhere a bit calmer.
We're also close to the South Downs (a 30-40 minute walk) if you want to head off for a walk or an off-road cycle ride.
The area is well-connected, safe, and easy to navigate, whether you’re visiting for a weekend break, working remotely, or staying a little longer.
This is a self-contained one-bedroom basement flat with its own private entrance and outdoor space.
It’s set up to be practical and comfortable rather than overly styled, with plenty of space, everything you need for a short or longer stay, and a layout that works for couples, families or small groups.
The flat can sleep up to 4 guests, with a double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room.
There’s also a small private patio, giving you some outdoor space during your stay.
Because it’s a basement property, you may occasionally hear some light footfall from the flat above, and natural light is more limited than a top-floor flat — but it stays cool in summer and is generally a quiet place to relax.
Living Room
A comfortable and spacious living area with a large corner sofa that converts into a sofa bed (IKEA Friheten), allowing the flat to sleep up to four guests.
There’s a 50" 4K TV, Wi-Fi, and a fold-away dining table so you can eat in without the space feeling crowded.
It’s set up to be a relaxed space to unwind after a day exploring Brighton.
Kitchen
A fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for your stay, including:
Oven and hob
Fridge/freezer
Microwave
Tassimo coffee machine
Cooking utensils and essentials
Whether you’re preparing a full meal or just making breakfast, it’s all there.
Bedroom
A spacious double bedroom with a comfortable bed, wardrobe storage and room to move around, something that’s often limited in Brighton properties.
Suitable for couples or individuals looking for a quieter space away from the main living area.
Bathroom
A compact but functional shower room with:
Shower enclosure
Sink and toilet
Washing machine (useful for longer stays)
Outdoor Space
A small private patio with table and chairs.
As the flat is a basement property, the space is enclosed and mostly shaded — making it a cooler, quieter spot rather than a sun-facing garden.
Family-Friendly Extras
Games and puzzles for adults, children and toddlers
Highchair and travel cot available (please note these are used at your own risk)
