Location
The house is wonderfully placed for visitors to explore southern Tuscany and northern Lazio.
The unique, medieval town of Pitigliano (7 minutes) is a fascinating place. Known as “Little Jerusalem” because of its vibrant Jewish community in the Middle Ages, the town is well-preserved and well worth visiting. The weekly market (Wednesday mornings) is not to be missed. Here you will find local specialities and the freshest regional produce.
For something more relaxing, try the spas of Saturnia (30 minutes). People have been seeking cures in these hot springs for 3000 years, and the town’s architecture reflects this rich heritage.
Rome’s Fiumicino Airport is 1 hour and 50 minutes away.
