Ashley River Retreat is a spacious three-bedroom, three-bath home in North Charleston, built for families and groups who want room to spread out. Three full bathrooms mean no waiting in line, and the open kitchen, dining, and living areas keep everyone together.

THE LOCATION
You`re about 8 minutes from Charleston International Airport, Tanger Outlets, and the North Charleston Coliseum, Performing Arts Center, and Convention Center. Historic downtown Charleston is roughly a 20-minute drive, with the area`s beaches a bit farther on - close enough for a day trip, far enough to come home to quiet and easy parking. Right off I-526, you can reach Mount Pleasant and Summerville without fighting downtown traffic.

- We live and work in Charleston - off-site during your stay, but a message away
- Pet fee: $220 per pet, up to 2 dogs (dogs only); undisclosed pets incur a $200/night charge

We want every guest to have a relaxing, worry-free stay, so we don’t have strict rules about cleanup—just a kind request to keep things reasonably tidy. Dishes can be left running in the dishwasher. Used linens can be left as they are in the bedrooms or bathrooms, and our cleaning team will take care of them after your stay.
If you’re interested in hosting an event during your stay, please reach out prior to your reservation date for approval. Events that exceed the home’s listed capacity of guests are subject to additional conditions and guidelines.
Smoking is not permitted inside the home. If evidence of smoking is found, a minimum deep cleaning fee of $250 will be charged to the reservation. This home is pet-friendly with an additional fee per pet; however, bringing an undisclosed pet will result in a $200 per day charge.

The location of this house is in a good, safe, quiet neighborhood. It’s within 15 minutes to the outlets & airport, 20 minutes to downtown, Ashley, James Island and Park Circle. 30 minutes to Folly Beach. Easy access to anything we needed. The house is VERY clean with updated modern decor. The kitchen is stocked with everything we needed for family meals. The beds are soft but comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and stocked with all the necessities. There’s only 1 tv in the main room with a small couch. Not necessarily a cozy hangout space but worked for our short stay. There are A LOT of steps. No backyard. We just walked our little dog out front. The neighborhood is active with walkers/runners/dog walkers. I loved the two amazing porches for sunrise and sunset watching! We had an issue with wasps nests on the porches and Michael and his team addressed it immediately. They are VERY attentive and hospitable hosts! Overall, I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the attentiveness of the hosts. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet out of the way space but still close enough to all the major Charleston attractions!
