Escape to our peaceful hilltop home in the heart of Joshua Tree, just 10 minutes from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park and 5 minutes from downtown Joshua Tree. Nestled in JT’s Upper Friendly Hills neighborhood, the property overlooks the village below and offers sweeping desert vistas best enjoyed from the backyard at sunrise, sunset, and under the stars.

Spend your days exploring nearby trails like the Nancy Karl Trail & Joshua Tree National Park, gathering around the fire pit after dark, or heading into town for local art, food, and music.

The house is ideally situated just 5.8 miles from the national park west entrance and only 2.8 miles from downtown Joshua Tree, where you’ll find eclectic shops, restaurants, galleries, and desert charm in every direction.

The home features three comfortable bedrooms:
• A cozy full-size bedroom
• A flexible twin room perfect for a child or remote work setup
• A spacious queen bedroom with its own private bathroom
The semi open-concept living and kitchen area opens directly onto the backyard through sliding glass doors, creating an easy indoor-outdoor flow with stunning desert views beyond.

*Kitchen*
Our fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed to cook at home, including cookware, utensils, an Instant Pot, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, French press, Keurig and drip coffee makers. There’s also a BBQ grill outside for sunset dinners under the desert sky.

*Amenities*
The house includes two bathrooms:
• One shared bathroom with a tub/shower combination
• One private ensuite bathroom with a shower attached to the queen bedroom
Guests also have access to garage and driveway parking, plus a washer and dryer for added convenience.

*Backyard*
Step right outside the kitchen to enjoy the backyard. Relax around the fire pit, grill dinner on the BBQ, enjoy a meal, or settle into the lounge chairs for golden hour views and incredible stargazing.

*Extras*
We provide complimentary bottled water, coffee, soap, lotion, and shampoo, thoughtfully sourced from local Joshua Tree makers and merchants whenever possible.

*History*
Originally purchased by Juniper Clay Shop to host visiting workshop participants, the home was created as a welcoming space for creativity, rest, and connection to the desert. We’re excited to now share it with travelers looking to experience the beauty and magic of Joshua Tree for themselves.
