The interior of the house is decorated with many original details and exudes a Mallorcan, rustic ambience. A wooden ceiling with lowered beams, dark door and window frames and terracotta-coloured floors give the ground floor a typical villa feel. Together with the neat, modern furnishings, the interior design provides the ideal setting for a successful island holiday. Highlights of this property include a country-style open-plan kitchen with a beautiful mosaic floor, sofa elements arranged around a fireplace and a solid wooden table for meals or board game evenings. An open wooden staircase with a brick surround, which also serves as a wine rack, leads to the first floor. Care should be taken when climbing the stairs with younger guests due to the bottles stored there. The upper floor is characterised by diagonals. The three bright, functional and cosy double bedrooms disprove the claim that sloping ceilings lead to classic problem areas when it comes to furnishing. Here, niches have been skilfully converted into open wardrobes and sloping ceilings into libraries. A total of three bathrooms, one of which is en-suite, round off the interior of the villa.
The quarry stone villa Can Rosillo is situated in a rural location just 3 kilometres from Llucmajor. Llucmajor has one of the most beautiful market squares with markets three days a week: Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This villa is only a few minutes away from the Ma-19, which takes you to the airport in 15 minutes and to the centre of Palma in just under 30 minutes. The bay of Palma with its kilometre-long sandy beach is just as easy to reach as the idyllic, small sandy bay of Cala Pí and the nature reserves of Playa Sa Ràpita and Playa Es Trenc.
