The view from inside the house and the decks is phenomenal...from sunup to sundown. The house is a 1970's ranch, remodeled inside. Spotlessly clean, new furniture,appliances,cabinetry. The exterior is not remodeled. Don't be put off by it.....the home is very nice to stay in. The materials used inside are high quality and the floorplan is perfect. This is an easy house to stay in. We had a small dog and he got along fine in the house and it was easy to walk him in the front and back yards. The Beach access is convenient and it is very nice to sit down there and watch the boats and Jet skis come in and go out. There is a starbucks 10 minutes away and downtown Hickory and the Viewmont section are also 10 minutes away. The Riverwalk is 7 minutes away and the City Walk only a little further. There is plenty to do and see. We enjoyed sitting on the deck (Both decks have there strong points) and watching the comings and goings across Lake Hickory. We have a Ford Expedition and were easily able to park in the driveway,under the side deck. It is a quiet and private location.
