Dream Luxury Villa Tamarindo Downtown

Very unusual. Nice layout. Great outside area Garden and pool beautiful. Great house for family reunion. Living area spacious Bedrooms all different good beds Kitchen practical and well stocked. Housekeeping did great job. Gardener cleaned pool daily and supplied fresh beach towels. Concierge Mel very helpful

Everything was as advertised! Enjoyed our time with family and friends.

Our family of 11 (ranging from 3 to 75 years old) had an absolutely wonderful time at Villa Don Vito! The hiuse was perfect, the pool was wonderful and the animals outside (shout out to Rocky the iguana) were fantastic. The location was great, as well as the communication with the property manager. The only "problem " is I'm not sure our future family vacations will come close to this place! Everyone keeps talking about it and cant get over how fabulous it was. Thank yiu to the housekeeping staff, pool/grounds keeper, and Mel, we appreciate all you did.

Would not stay here again! Great location for walkability but not if you are looking to relax as it is on a main road and very loud. When we arrived the gate to the property was not working so we had to wait for someone to come fix it. In addition the house was very warm when we arrived due to 2 of the main AC units not working and the staff did not know how to turn the fans on in the kitchen which is where one of the AC units was out. The pool was dirty and in need of being shocked it finally cleared the day we left. The front door only opens about 2 feet as it gets stuck on the floor making it challenging to get luggage in and out. The photos online must be outdated as the main part of the house does not look the same. The bathrooms are hot, loud, DIRTY and have terrible water pressure! You can hear your neighbors in the bathroom next door so forget privacy when showering, talking or going to the bathroom! The owner/manager neglected to tell us there was construction next door so sleeping in was not an option. Overall the house felt dirty, old, abused, broken, sad, and just not well taken care of. The daily staff did come in and keep it cleaned through out our stay which was nice. I would definitely NOT describe this as a luxury rental!! Size, location and a private pool don’t make it luxury when everything is broken and in need of some TLC. This property needs some serious attention. Set your expectations low if you plan to rent this.
