About this apartment rental

A warm welcome to the Baltic Sea!
Here, you’ll stay in the beautiful, quiet, and safe Steintor-Vorstadt neighborhood of Rostock, in a stylish 120-year-old city villa. You can conveniently park your car in front of the house for the duration of your stay., Whether you’re traveling as a couple or a small family with 1 to 2 children, we look forward to welcoming every single guest and will greet you personally. And no matter if it’s spring, summer, fall, or winter—the Hanseatic city of Rostock is always a wonderful experience, no matter the season. That’s why this apartment offers the same great value every day of the year. However, you can save money by bringing your own bed linens and towels. Of course, both can also be booked as add-ons. Please let us know in advance so that the bed linens are already set up upon your arrival.
Bed linens: 15.00 euros per person.
Hand towel + bath towel: 5.00 euros per person.
You can pay these fees in cash upon arrival.
The final cleaning fee is 80.00 euros per stay (already included in the booking price).

The vacation rental has been freshly renovated and lovingly furnished, ensuring you’ll have a carefree and relaxing vacation. If you have any questions or requests, you can contact us, your hosts, at any time, as we also live in the same building. The bathroom is equipped with soap, a guest towel, toilet paper, various cleaning supplies, a hair dryer, a bathroom scale, a clothes rack, and—for beach trips—a beach blanket, a beach towel, and a pop-up beach shelter. The fully equipped kitchen features a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a sink (including dish soap, a brush, rags, sponges, and 2 dish towels), as well as a dishwasher with tabs, an electric stove with oven, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a hand mixer, an immersion blender, a Philips Senseo coffee pod machine, a folding step stool, and trash bags and paper towels. In the living area, a 65-inch Philips Smart TV with Ambilight is available for a cozy evening of TV. Wi-Fi is available here. Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment, but you’re free to smoke on the large terrace, which features a beach chair and an awning.

On hot summer days, the apartment can get very warm, as it’s located on the upper floor and faces south. We therefore recommend lowering all the blinds during the day. Both bedrooms have a window with an insect screen, so you can sleep comfortably with the window open in the evening or at night. If you suffer from allergies, please keep in mind that there are numerous plants and trees in the backyard, such as hazelnut, cherry, apple, oak, and linden. Several animals also feel at home in the garden or have made it their home, including seagulls, pigeons, magpies, thrushes, and many other smaller bird species, as well as hedgehogs and squirrels, of course, but also wild bees—and, last but not least, our now-retired house cat, who still enjoys wandering throughout the house and keeping an eye on things. For this reason, unfortunately, you cannot bring your own pets. The garden is not part of the vacation rental.

The main train station is a 6-minute walk away, and the tram stop is right nearby; shopping is just a short 3-minute walk (Edeka) or 5-minute walk (Penny), or a 10-minute drive to Kaufland. For children, there’s a playground and a soccer field just across the street—only a few steps away. Kröpeliner Straße, the longest shopping street in the north, is a 10-minute walk away. There you’ll find countless shops and stores, and the many cafés and restaurants invite you to linger. During the pre-Christmas season, the legendary Christmas market takes place here. In the second week of August, a visit to the annual Hanse-Sail in the city harbor is an absolute must. And on an evening night watchman tour, you’ll learn even more about the city’s medieval streets and alleys. But the Baltic Sea resort of Warnemünde, with its unique charm, is what really gives you that seaside feeling. On the well-maintained beach, a dip in the refreshing water and the mesmerizing sunset are what make your vacation perfect and unforgettable. If you’d like to go cycling in the Rostock area, you can rent bikes at the bike station near the main train station. You can also set out from your lodging to explore many other attractive destinations: the Rostock Zoo, the Botanical Garden, Karls Erlebnishof, Marlow Bird Park, the Darß Peninsula, Stralsund (Marine Science Museum), Schwerin (Castle), Güstrow, Wismar...
