Good to know: the elevator is on the small side — fine for two with standard luggage, tight for oversized suitcases. You'll hear some traffic hum from Kallirrois avenue when standing on the balcony; it drops off entirely once you step inside, and the bedroom faces the back.
Self check-in is available anytime from 15:00 on arrival day — you'll receive the building address, lockbox location, and code the day before you arrive. The elevator is inside the building lobby; press 5 for the top floor, and it opens directly into the apartment (no shared hallway).
Check-out is by 11:00 — just leave the keys in the lockbox and pull the door closed behind you. I'm reachable by message throughout your stay for anything you need, and I respond quickly. Please note the elevator is compact: comfortable for two people with normal luggage, tight with oversized suitcases.
Self check-in is available 24/7, and we can usually offer early check-in when the prior stay allows — just ask. During the day (9am–9pm), you'll reach a member of our team directly by message or phone. Outside those hours, our AI assistant handles most questions instantly — and flags anything urgent to us right away.
We manage other Homis apartments across Athens in different price ranges and sizes — visit our profile to browse them. We also host on several Greek islands, so if you're continuing your trip, just ask and we'll point you to the right listings.
See you soon.
LOCATION:
-Acropolis Metro (Red Line) — 6 min walk — direct line to the airport and Piraeus port; no taxi needed for arrivals or island ferries
-Acropolis & Parthenon — 14 min walk — close enough to go at sunrise before the crowds, return for a nap, and go back at golden hour
-Acropolis Museum — 7 min walk — one of the best museums in Europe, and the café terrace has its own Parthenon view
-Panathenaic Stadium — 15 min walk — the marble stadium from the 1896 Olympics, a scenic morning walk through the National Garden
Syntagma Square — 17 min walk — central Athens, Parliament, the changing of the guard, and the start of the shopping streets
Neighborhood honest take: Neos Kosmos is residential and Greek-feeling — bakeries, tavernas, and neighbors who actually live here. You're a 4-minute walk from solid local food and one metro stop (or a 10-min walk) from Koukaki's busier café strip. You're staying near the tourist Athens, not in it. That's the trade.
Metro station 'Acropolis' and the Tram line are in walking distance.
Greek short-term rental registration:
Greek law requires us to register the main guest before check-in. Before arrival, we'll ask you for:
Full name
Passport or national ID number
Home address
VAT number (Greek residents only)
It takes two minutes, we send a secure link, and your data is handled per GDPR. Every registered rental in Greece does this — if you've booked in Athens before, you know the drill.
Airport and port transfers:
We can arrange a licensed driver at fixed rates — no surge pricing, no meter surprises. Just message us with your flight or ferry details and we'll confirm.
Athens International Airport:
Car (up to 4): €49 day / €65 night (23:15–05:00)
Van (up to 8): €90 day / €105 night
Port of Piraeus
