Newel is a 7-8 min walk from the Acropolis train station. It has a wonderful contemporary aesthetic and I loved that my deluxe room came with many thoughtful amenities such as a little kitchenette with stove & pots, and even toiletries like ear plugs. The hotel also comes with a sauna room, gym, and massage room. It’s a cosy and tiny hotel but filled with surprises at every corner.

Posizione strategica, gentilezza dello staff, non manca nulla. Unica nota: come tutti gli hotel sulle strade principali c'e' un po' di rumore esterno. E' normale ma e' bene saperlo.

we stayed there for two nights.Each and every member of hotel staffs was very sincere
and warm ..starting from taxi reservation…restaurant recomendation or any small little help they were very prompt in helping..They even arranged for a packed breakfast as we had to checkout very early..hotel is located centrally..walkable distance from plaka and actopolis ,room was little small for a family of 3 but it was well equipped with indictio stovetop,microwave ,coffee machine and fridge
overall we really liked it ..also we had a view of acropolis from the room

Big, comfortable rooms with everything you need for a comfortable stay in Athens. Really appreciated the kitchenette.
Staff was very friendly but the rest of the hotel experience left something to be desired. The gym is kind of a joke with machines of such poor quality that you can't get a real workout in. The breakfast buffet was the worst we encountered in Greece. Few choices and mostly processed, pre made foods that had probably been de frosted or taken out of a package.
The location was close to the acropolis but extremely inconvenient otherwise. The hotel is on a big, noisy avenue that is a pain to cross. All the restaurants nearby are tourist traps.
