Central Freo Hideaway

Amazing place book If you can. Beautiful and close to everything.

Perfect location, beds super comfy, with own smart tv in the rooms. Had the best stay

Nothing,

Practically perfect in every way - this is the Mary Poppins of stays. From the clear communication prior to arrival, to the facilities and location, there is very little to fault with the Central Freo Hideaway. The property is immaculately clean and well equipped, with excellent quality linens, towels, kitchen items and consumables. It is beautifully decorated and welcoming, and everything you need for a relaxing stay has been thought of. The space itself is well considered, and has modern facilities, while giving a big nod to its heritage, creating a beautiful, functional place to make your home for the duration of your stay. The beds are very comfortable and cosy, with good quality linen. The shower has great water pressure, and the towels are big and soft. It is in an excellent location, right in the heart of Fremantle and walking distance to everything, but once you come through the front gate, you feel like you're in a little sanctuary. It is very secluded and quiet. It would suit a couple, a pair of couples, friends or a small family. Our party was 2 friends. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

If there was a quibble to be had, it is only that there was no free-to-air TV. This may not be an issue for most, and you can connect to pretty much most streaming services through your own account. However, if you just wanted to catch some local news etc, you weren't able to. Again, a very minor quibble and one most people wouldn't be concerned with.

A great location, close to wonderful restaurants, bars, the shops and historical must sees like the prison, round house and shipwreck museum. Private secure parking right behind the back gate of the property. The back gate leads you into its cute private courtyard, and the beautifully renovated cottage. Really comfy beds, a well equipped kitchen and laundry and a sweet little living room with pretty stained glass doors. A pleasure to stay in! Would definitely stay here again. (Btw, The hosts also left out a compendium of where they suggested eating and visiting in the area which was really helpful too. We ate in the old synagogue, tonic + ginger, a minute walk away and it was fabulous). Enjoy!
