Kiez Apartment in Neukölln 2Zi

The location was fine. Public transport close by. A grocery store close by too. The apartment itself was pretty nice too, although initially a bit cold during this time of the year

The communication with the hosts was absolutely horrible. All I got was 3 automated messages and never a real response whenever I tried contacting them in the booking chat. On the day of the booking, I received 0 instructions about the check in, so I couldn’t get in. I tried contacting the property via the booking chat, but it was no use. Like I mentioned earlier, nobody responded. 15 minutes after the official check in time, I had texted them on WhatsApp and still had to wait 30 minutes for a response. 15 minutes after the WhatsApp message, I started calling both contact numbers they had listed. At first both went to voicemail, but, after calling one number the second time, someone finally picked up. Then we had to wait again for someone to show up and let us in. Even though the person didn’t seem to care much about this whole situation, we finally got the key’s and got inside. It took us crazy amounts of stress and persistence to get into the apartment that we booked a month in advance and we got to get in only an hour after the official check in time
