The Space:
The former commercial unit is centrally located in Berlins most upcoming district Neukölln and was turned into a 1 bedroom apartment with direct street access. Located on the ground floor and on approx. 45 m² there is space for up to 9 people. The bright living room offers a large dining area, comfortable sofa elements that can be converted into single beds and flat screen TV with Amazon FireTV Stick and ZattooLive TV function. There is a sleeping area with 2 double beds that is visually separated from the living area. Another bedroom features a double bed. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, stove and oven, fridge with freezer, coffee maker, kettle, toaster. The bathroom offers a shower/WC. Explore Berlin like a local and benefit from the size of the apartment and good connections to the city center.
The bustling Karl-Marx-Strasse is just a stone's throw away.

This property is fine, but would not advise in the summer. Ventilation of the front rooms is through the front door only, which opens onto a busy sidewalk. The rooms are spacious and clean and the kitchen is well equipped. We missed some comfortable chairs to sit in and curtains that would close properly. We visited Rixdorf in the evening which is a delightful little place in the middle of Neukolln.
The direct area is a bit downtrodden, but we were able to park in the street.
All in all it served our purpose, also because it was good weather so we took plenty of time to discover Berlin.
