The Secret Garden Trastevere

The location is excellent. A two block walk and you are in the heart of Trastevere. There is a great little bistro just down the block for morning caffe and even lunch. Best of all, the house is quiet and private, and very clean. It feels like your own little oasis in the city. The house is perfect, has just the right amount of space, and the kitchen has all one could need (although i looked for kitchen towels but couldn’t find any). We appreciated the espresso maker a lot, as we have espresso every morning! There is even a little patio for a quiet outdoor space. It is secure,, with the outside gate and the interior location; and there are not even steps (there is a ramp) so handling the luggage is as easy as possible. It’s a bit more expensive than most places in trastevere, but we loved it. And if you like to visit the sunday flea market at porta portese, it’s quite nearby.

there was a slight problem with the shower drain on the first day, but the owner took care of it right away and it was not an issue; once fixed, there was no problem, and it was the BEST shower of all the rentals on our two week trip.

A great villa in a lovely part of Trastevere . Close to restaurants and public transport . Clean, comfortable and quiet. Very helpful host who was generous enough to drive us to the airport.

A few things that would help make this property even better. The shower recess didn’t drain properly and so the bathroom floor was flooded. We couldn’t find any plates or glassware as well as a tea towel in the kitchen . Maybe a bottle of water in the refrigerator would be a great welcome.

Loved the location and the space!! Very comfortable and clean, thank you so much! I would highly recommend this place ❤️

Es handelt sich um eine kleine Villa ruhig gelegen im Garten eines Apartment Hauses. Nur wenige Gehminuten bis zu den Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten in Trastevere.
