London Stratford - Spacious 1 bed flat with secured parking

The flat has a great location to Stratford. Nice open rooms, ample kitchen, great fridge! I wanted somewhere simple as a base. I didn't realise there was a parking space included within a gated area. But it's quite a bonus for a London property. Comfy mattress, especially as I sell them!

I arrived very late and couldn't see the entrance, so I went the entire way around the block looking for the entrance! Just remember, it's directly opposite NISA & the zebra crossing!

The location is excellent and the fact it comes with a parking spot in a secure locked compound in London is outstanding! Absolutely made up with that! Its location is brilliant with lots of amenities around too. It's close to the stadium, the tube station and the shopping centre. The NISA store where you pick your keys up from is brilliant too. Everything you need and nice staff as well.

I tried to make bacon sandwiches on the Saturday morning, but found out that the gas hob doesn't light without a lighter. I also wanted to run a quick wash through the washing machine, but there was also no washing powder or pods, so I had to nip over to the Nisa store across the road to buy both of these. It also needs a little dustpan and brush, as it would seem I washed a receipt in my pocket which left tiny bits of paper all over the floor when I got the washing out (sorry), and without dragging a hoover out, I couldn't really clean it up. We also couldn't open the balcony doors, which was a shame as we could have done with the extra airflow with it being so hot! I was also expecting a sofa bed, but it was just a sofa, and didn't appear to have any spare pillows or bedding for it. I ended up giving my son one of my pillows and the blanket from the bed, which did mean I only had one pillow during our stay.

We loved the location and the parking was a real plus. It was quiet and had a good view over the park.

The apartment was dirty and there were a lot of places that needed finishing and painting.
