Stratford city apartments

This property is in a fantastic location for Abba Voyage. Walkable to arena and Stratford Station. Handy for Westfield centre which has good bars/shops if wanted. The property is older and not shiny or fancy but for the price it is absolutely fine. We were party of 5 40-60yr olds, stayed for 2 nights: Abba Voyage first night and London bottomless brunch the next day. Used kitchen facilities to cook buffet type food one night, there was enough crockery for all of us. Ordered takeaway one night and morning- drivers found flat easily. Equipped with iron/ironing board/hairdryer (we didnt find this until last day as was on top of kitchen cupboard- we've moved it to bedside table in bedroom!!l Used pull out couch in lounge for bed, comfy enough, although no sheets found for base. There was an extra duvet and some pillows though. It was very warm in London so lack of bedding wasnt an issue for us. Obviously no air con but both bedrooms and living room had working fans, which did us fine.

This is pretty basic accommodation but for the price it is great value for money. We didn't have unrealistic expectations so cant say there is anything we actively didn't like. If we wanted luxury we'd have been paying 2-3 times what we paid for this apartment.

Very comfy beds, lovely big clean shower and great value. Really convenient for the London Stadium or Abba Voyage. We visited during the heatwave and were really appreciative of the fans in each room - thanks!

Some of the furnishings are a little tired but it didn’t bother us at all. It was a little difficult buy a quick phone call sorted it out really quickly. They change the key code each day so you don’t get that until just before check-in. It would be helpful to know that in advance so you don’t panic!

Really needs a deep clean as everything just feels a bit grubby. All the furnishings are very tired looking. Communication from the host was non-existent. Asked 3 times after I booked if we could check in any earlier and received no response. Didn’t hear anything about how to check in until I rang the host about 2 hours before the normal check in. Said he would check with the cleaner and get back to me but never did. Had to ring 2 more times to get the code for the lockbox and the cleaner was still there until at least 2:30. Similar feedback has been given so this is very easily resolved. Would also benefit from a few basic amenities such as shower gel, washing powder, washing up liquid as there is a very random selection of products, again very easily resolved.
