The Zen Lake House Naivasha

The person looking after the house is very kind and helpful. The room is spotless, spacious and comfortable with a little terrace that gives you a nice view of the mountain. The surrounding is quiet and peaceful and you can see the mountain through the window. The kitchen is also spacious. Overall, it is good value for money, especially if you are travelling on a budget and you wanna go to Hell's Gate and Lake Naivasha while avoiding the hassle of travelling from Nairobi. After staying in Nairobi for a couple of days, it is nice to escape the city and be in a quiet location while still being able to do safaris and other activities.

The place can be way too quiet, especially if you are the only person in the Airbnb. I personally would've preferred that there'd be other travelers in the other rooms. On my first day here, there was a girl but then she left. But if you are already with a partner or with a group of friends, that shouldn't be a problem. Also, it is in a remote place and to road leading up to it is quite rocky and uneven.

I had an outstanding stay at this peaceful, beautifully appointed retreat. The host was warm, welcoming, and highly responsive, making the entire experience seamless. The home itself is stylish, spotless, and deeply comfortable, featuring a cozy sitting room, a restful bedroom, a well-equipped bathroom, and a modern kitchen. The sunset swing on the rooftop was the absolute highlight of the trip. Watching the sun dip over the lake and mountains from that spot was pure magic, making it a truly serene and unforgettable getaway. The host also helped organize an incredible day trip to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary on Lake Naivasha. Because there are no large predators on the island, you can safely and uniquely walk in close proximity to wildlife like giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and waterbucks. The property is perfectly situated as a base for exploring the area. I highly recommend it for relaxing, birdwatching, sunset sundowners, and taking boat rides. It is also incredibly close to Hells Gate National Park for cycling safaris and Mount Longonot hiking Trail. Highly recommended

Firstly, the unit is not very far from the road. Its a very spacious unit, the interior decor is amazing. The amenities are modern and geared to give a very cozy and comfortable stay. The rooftop gives a very clear view of Lake Naivasha.The host is very kind and always ready to handle any challenges that someone may have. We got breakfast at an extra cost. Overally, our experience was awesome.
