Dale Grange

Dale Grange is a large terraced house on the road into Askrigg - about a five minute drive away so really convenient for Askrigg and lots of other towns and villages in Wensleydale and Swaledale. I stayed here solo and used the beautiful large front bedroom. There are two other bedrooms, all beautifully furnished and decorated (third bedroom does not have a wardrobe) and there is one bathroom with a shower over the bath. There are two generous living spaces, one is attached to the kitchen and has access to the rear courtyard garden. The kitchen had everything you need and lots of storage space. The views from the house are beautiful and there are fields of sheep to the side and back, so it is very peaceful.

Nothing - I loved everything. Those with mobility issues should note that there are steps up to the front door. Those with children and pets should note that the gate lets directly onto the road.

Dale Grange is in a wonderful location in Askrigg. The views are exceptional. From my bedroom I had views of sheep in the fields on an evening, followed by fabulous sunsets. Fabulous walks from the doorstep. The property is beautiful. Everything from the furniture to the kitchen utensils is of highest quality. The bedrooms are particularly glorious. Wonderful touches throughout, allowing you to have a restful and restorative stay. Wifi fantastic. Cheryl the host couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Will definitely be returning.

Minor issues. Towels were very old. Step down in hall needs marking as potential trip hazard.

It was such a quiet, comfortable and homely property.
