La vieille dame

Honestly this place completely exceeded my expectations. The room was absolutely immaculate, beautifully decorated and restored with perfect amenities, and wonderfully large showerhead. I arrived on my bike from a long journey and very much needed a good rest and to be in a quiet place and this was most definitely that. Pierre was a fantastic host and I was made to feel very welcome into that beautiful residence. The village is quiet, calm and there is a lovely warm feeling there, I cannot put my finger on what it is but honestly I felt so relaxed both inside the residence and in the village. There is a boulangerie about 30m away from the residence which was absolutely perfect for breakfast, coffee machine just outside the room and I just perched on a step nearby with the aforementioned saying "hello" to the locals passing by to collect their morning bread. I wish I had more time there that's for sure and I will definitely be having to pass by there in the future. It did however set the tone rather too high so that during the rest of my trip nothing would really come close to the stay I had here. Thank you Pierre for your warmness and hospitality.

La clim portative très bruyante, le matelas trop ferme, la douche étroite et la forte odeur de parfum. Il n’y a pas de télé dans la chambre. Il n’y a pas de piscine contrairement aux photos de l’annonce.
