Résidence Ambroise Paré

Very well appointed, especially the kitchen, both in terms of appliances and utensils. Clean and quite spacious, plenty of hot water and warm in this very cold snap. Access arrangements were well thought through and organised -the whole residence was very well kept and felt safe. The public lounges with good wifi and the launderette in the building were bonuses.

The bed was extremely hard and very uncomfortable. It affected the quality of rest/sleep quite dramatically. Access to the property was complicated, but good once you knew the system. No-one was available to give me access to the building at my prearranged arrival time and there were no replies to my phone and mail messages to find out what was going on. When the agent finally arrived she was most apologetic and very helpful and nice but I had a long wait in difficult circumstances and did not know if or when someone was going to return to let me into the property. The shower mixer tap was very inconvenient and made showering very difficult as it protruded a long way out horizontally into the shower cubicle. In my opinion it was also a bit dangerous - it could cause bruising or injury if you inadvertently stepped into it, and for a smaller person, it was too near your face to be safe.

The apartment was spacious, clean and modern. The air conditioning was such a relief in the boiling weather. The outside terrace space was amazing. Highly recommend

Tiger Mosquitos eating us alive. The next door property was very overgrown and they came out in swarms. BUT this is not the fault of Residence Ambroise Paré.
