Le PURE - home cinema, terasse, et parking

The property is in an outstanding location overlooking Place Georges Clemenceau, within <100m from the nearest grocery store, and in the same building as a number of shops, and <5m walk from key locations in the middle of Pau. The standard of the property is very good, with LED mood lighting, shutters, a ceiling fan (but no actual aircon; that said, the flat appears well insulated and despite the weather being hot while we were there the lack of aircon was not a problem), and a large projector. While we did not make use of it much, the flat has an absolutely amazing terrace of very good size.

While the flat is centrally located, the lockbox to get the keys is not. If you arrive by car this is not a problem. We arrived by train, and once I'd dropped up my wife and son, going to pick up the keys took me a ~20 euro Uber ride and ~30 minutes. When I got there, there was no key in the lockbox. I had to call several times before I got hold of someone, who then went to the lockbox - which I'd left by then -, and dropped the key. They did eventually come to us at the flat with the key after I objected to having to go back there again, and they did offer us late checkout to compensate us for the trouble. We finally got into the flat about an hour after we arrived. I appreciate this is likely not the typical experience, and everything else about the stay was fantastic. As a very minor nitpick, the instructions could also be clearer about the garbage disposal (there are disposal and recycling points <100m away on Place Georges Clemenceau, so disposal itself was easy - it was just slightly hard to find proper instructions on what to do).

Car park was a public underground car park and was quite a way off from the property, not good if you have quite a bit of luggage. We also struggled to find the apartment it was above the shopping centre. The info pack I found by accident on the next day on a book shelf, and there was a kettle and toaster missing, which I took pictures of so I did not get accused of taking.
