Steps to the Shore, Dreamy Oceanfront Condo Daytona Beach

I have stayed here before but #356 was the cleanest and the most comfortable one thus far! Also Anna was amazing to connect with

We loved everything about the condo. The hosts provided for every foreseeable need. The furniture was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. Whatever we needed in the kitchen was there. It was clean everywhere. They even provided beach chairs and a boogie board and suntan spray.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

The parking is a free for all. If you look closely you will see a lobby attendant. There's an indoor pool, you will smell it immediately & the floors are constantly wet. There are lots of clean elevators . The hallways aren't well lit or well air-conditioned.They smell like 1980s damp carpet. But what a pleasant suprise when we opened our door. The condo was pristine clean, smelled nice & was decorated beautifully. The view was oceanfront, beautiful sunrise every morning. You can hear the Ocean from the comfort of a recliner with air-conditioning that worked! Kitchenette with full size fridge (icemaker was nice)everything you could need & some pleasant suprises. Beach accessories in hall closet including chairs & sunscreen. Beds are super firm. Bath has a huge vanity top with lots of room to share.Our host Anna was extremely prompt at responding to our questions. She was kind and went above & beyond to accommodate our request.I wish she could host every vacation of ours. We didn't use the indoor or outdoor pool. They were both open though there was construction around outdoor pool.(didn't look safe for children)Parking is always iffy when there's no valet. Guests will block the drive when loading in and out, without consideration of others. They will also park in handicapped spaces & forget to display their plaque. Surely they aren't taking up a space dedicated to someone less mobile? And I hope no one is paying the people that are hiding behind the desk in the lobby. There was a grumpy man who couldn't be bothered. No luggage racks visible until last day. When I went to reach for one he asked for my driver's license. There wasn't one available by the time I returned with it. When he is off duty there's a woman who was eating pizza on the counter was in a better mood. Probably because she was on a break. If I owned the property I'd hire valets(very profitable)& friendly hosts at desk..

I missed my soft bed. I slept in recliner.
