Városközpont, zárt parkoló, kedves tulajdonos, akivel a történelemről is lehet beszélgetni. Az udvaron áll egy régi Zsidó iskola, most renoválják. A közelben piac, pénzváltó, műszaki bolt.....

Boravak u ovom apartmanu bio je izvanredan i zaslužuje čistu desetku! Apartman je besprekorno čist, moderno uređen, prostran i opremljen svim što je potrebno za prijatan boravak. Ono što ovaj smeštaj izdvaja od drugih su domaćini, Mende i njegova supruga. Njihova ljubaznost, srdačnost i gostoprimstvo su za svaku pohvalu. Od prvog trenutka učinili su da se osećamo kao kod kuće. Uvek su bili dostupni za sva pitanja i spremni da pomognu. Mende je čak otišao da nam kupi picu, što je gest koji se zaista retko doživljava i koji pokazuje koliko mu je stalo do gostiju. Lokacija je odlična, a odnos domaćina prema gostima je nešto što se ne može opisati – to se mora doživeti. Ako dolazite u Bitolj, ne razmišljajte, ovo je pravo mesto za boravak. Hvala Mendeu i njegovoj supruzi na predivnom gostoprimstvu. Radujemo se ponovnom dolasku i od srca preporučujemo ovaj apartman svima!

The house is located in the heart of the old city, in the historically Jewish neighbourhood of Bitola, formally known as Manastir. The old city is pictoresque with narrow alleys, shops, cafes and a bazaar with colourful palets of food items. Walking through the old city and the bazaar makes one feel like stepping back in lost times and the small river that flows through the old city adds another layer of delight to it. Sirok Sokak with cafes, shops, foreign consulates and historical buildings is among the landmarks of Bitola, together with Orthodox churches, Ottoman mosques, the old bazaar and Jewish buildings is just a few minutes walk from the accommodation. The house is located within the same space as the building of the Jewish Torah and Talmud school, which was offering religious education to jewish pupils from late 19th century until the tragic events in WW2. The owners Mende and his wife Sofija who run the accommodation are very accommodating and friendly towards their guests and towards the visitors of the historical school. Mende is working hard to renovate the jewish school with little help from outside. Mende is a souce of knowledge and he is keen talking about the history of the Bitola, the old city and the Jewish neighbourhood. I am grateful to Mende and Sofija for enabling me and my mother to have an excellent stay in their accommodation and for their tips and help in our travel itinary.
