Location was great. The lodge was a wonderful private and quiet retreat base for walking to Franeker (do visit the planetarium), and visiting nearby villages like Makkum, Harlingen & Dokkum). The kind reception by the owner and the curious Alpaca “Neighbors” were a true bonus.

Heel hartelijke ontvangst, alles is tot in de puntjes verzorgd, er ontbrak aan niets. Er is overal aan gedacht voor een heerlijk ontspannen verblijf! De houseboat is erg mooi, superschoon, echt een plek om tot rust te komen, je kan heerlijk op je terras of op de ligstoelen in het gras kijken naar de bootjes in het gezelschap van lieve alpaca's en bezoekje van een lieve hond. Wij komen heel graag weer terug, het is omgevlogen! Heel erg bedankt voor alles!

De Waterlodge is van alle gemakken voorzien, het ligt verscholen, heerlijk aan het water en je ziet voor je neus zo de boten langs varen. Je komt zo tot rust. Als de boten langs varen voel je heerlijk een beetje deining. Ook het contact met Simone en Johan (de eigenaars) hebben we als heel fijn ervaren en de alpaca's naast de Waterlodge is heel gezellig. Als bonus kwam Tommy (de hond) even gezellig langs. We hebben genoten.
Het uitzicht had mooier kunnen zijn.

De prachtige locatie aan de vaart, de inrichting en luxe. Zo compleet, alles was aanwezig!
