The view, the animals, the isolation the welcoming hosts and the sunrise
It was cold and wet, but that's Walpole apparently. Fortunately there was a great fire and even an electric heater as well.

Amazing stay at Walpole Wilderness! Everything was clean, comfortable and cozy with the fireplace. We loved meeting the friendly goats and adorable baby goats, plus the emus! A beautiful and peaceful place—highly recommended!🐐

Everything here is astounding for the price. Location alone. Lack of reception. Animals and friendly staff. Jim and his boys were lovely enough to let our eldest two help with the baby goats at dusk. Beautiful night with card games and a hot fire and the kids. Book a night, you'll want more.
Dont change a thing.
