God plassering

Manglet litt bestikk på kjøkkenet, ostehøvel

Grei beliggenhet

We appreciated the fact we had a full big house at our disposal. We absolutely loved the view of Lyngenfjord close by. The accommodation was also pretty close to the town centre. The living room was quite comfy and so were the beds in the bedrooms. The host was helpful, and he arrived promptly to help when we had issues getting into the house.

However, the standard of the holiday house was much lower than we expected. We trusted the few reviews we'd read but they were not accurate and photos on Booking.com didn't truly reflect the reality. The house was not refurbished sufficiently, probably the living room had the best standard of all rooms. It wasn't very clean, either. There wasn't a drive or parking, so we had to park on the side of a busy road. The worst thing was that you had to climb very steep old stairs, both to get into the house and to go upstairs inside the house. As a result, it was completely inappropriate for my elderly parents with walking issues. Last but not least, we ran out of hot water somehow, so I had to finish my shower in cold water, and there wasn't a hair dryer, so I couldn't even dry my hair. In general, definitely not worth the price unless you pay for the location and views.
