The lake house

The Lake House at Kvietkinės Kaimo Bendruomenė is located right by the lake and was clean upon arrival. The peaceful lakeside setting is a nice feature of the property

Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected our stay. A small dog on the property was quite aggressive and became annoying during our visit. Although the house is by the lake, swimming was nearly impossible because of the very muddy shoreline and lake bottom. We also felt that the co-owner was overly intrusive, checking on guests repeatedly and monitoring the property until around midnight, which reduced our sense of privacy and relaxation. Another important point is that the shower is only accessible via stairs, which was not clearly mentioned in the listing. This could be a significant inconvenience for elderly guests or people with mobility issues. When we arrived, the older owner (young lady was very pleasant) was also reluctant to show us where the shower facilities were located. Overall, the location and cleanliness were positive, but the experience was diminished by the lack of privacy, the aggressive dog, the poor swimming conditions, and the accessibility issues. We would not recommend this property for elderly guests or anyone with disabilities.

Location in the woods, next to the lake, beautiful nature. Big kitchen space, big living room, really nice views.

Only cold water under the shower.
