Stowmarket centre modern 3 bedroom bungalow

Location was good as some of us travelled by train and property could be reached on foot.Property is spacious and very comfortable for three of us. Very helpful that bedding and towels were provided. Kitchen well equipped. TV was a bonus and it was ideal for us for a two night stay as we attended a wedding in the area. Host very polite and helpful on contact.

The oven could have been cleaner and the sink also was dirty in the kitchen. TV could have benefitted from a signal booster. However, the positives of the accommodation far outweighed any negatives. Shower gel could be useful.

Size, location, layout, peace and quiet, provision shop nearby

Location of key was secure and accurate as described. Showers were perfect 👌🏻 Excellent communication with host prior and during stay, no issues. I would stay again if the host took onboard the below suggestions.

Lack of key code provided the day prior to arrival (even though it was late check-in). Had to contact the host directly whilst enroute. Key not available for second patio door and wasn’t able to open bedroom windows fully in this heatwave. No fans at the property and it was quite warm in there. Couldn’t find the ‘third’ bedroom as assume that one of the sofas was a pull-out but it wasn’t immediately apparent. There was a room that was locked again assuming this was a cleaning or boiler cupboard. Kettle had recently been descaled (?) but the hot water didn’t taste right and took a few boils to get it to taste okay (we love our cups of tea). Recommend replacing this as looking a bit tired. Lack of wardrobe space to hang clothes in main bedroom and also recommend providing an ironing board and iron for guests as wrongly assumed that one was there. Noticed cobwebs on the single stool chair between the legs and can do with a dust, an easy miss.
