If you find yourself in Dominica, you should definitely pay a visit to Eman and Bobby’s little paradise! We were their first booking on the platform and they welcomed us like family. Bobby is a retired guide who knows the island, trails and waterfalls by heart. Eman is his nephew, returning to Dominica after years in the UK, with the project to put open their house to the world and the taste of the architectural designer that he was in a Europe. The entire estate is filled with life, with animals all around (kittens, parrots, tortoises, etc) and the rainforest all around, yet with high end comfort. The different buildings were just renovated, and pay a tribute to local materials and craftsmanship. The house is located at the crossroads of natural wonders, Trafalgar falls, Ti Tou Gorge, Wotten Waven’s spa… Both Bobby and Eman were super generous and everything for us to have a great stay, guiding us in the village and the trail, presenting us the island, its culture, its inhabitants. We were supposed to stay one night, we ended up coming back for a second one :) A big thank you to Eman for the breakfast, with fruits from the garden, home made juice and eggs, it was delicious !! PS: dear Eman, we hope Roxy’s (the cat) eyes are getting better, and that Grisette hasn’t started hunting the fishes ;)
