Tashrabat is right in the middle of Karakol close to restaurants and shops. A good base before you head up the Ala Kul trek if you don't want to slum it in a hostel.
The single rooms are very modern, clean and comfortable. It appears they have been completely refurbished very recently.
Gulzat was very kind and helpful. The hotel also provides a laundry service.
I would recommend this hotel to any western travellers it was only a little more expensive than a hostel and much more comfortable. The single rooms have a double bed and could sleep a couple.
