Ble Oneiro Villa Sea to See

This is a beautiful and well appointed property, very well suited to our group of seniors. John accompanied our driver to the property and thoroughly oriented us to the villa. He was also very helpful in arranging transport for us with reliable and timely drivers. Our beds were big and comfortable. All three bedrooms had their own full bathrooms. The pool and outdoor areas were lovely with views of the sea and harbor and incredible sunsets. There were pool towels separate of the bath towels which was very nice. Garbage was removed daily but towel service were every other day.

My biggest issue was the location. While we had beautiful views of the sea and sunset, we felt quite remote. When booking this property, I was aware that there was no breakfast and I investigated and mapped its location compared with cafes, restaurants and grocery stores. Most indicated .2K away. This was the same for our excursion meeting points- mostly at the harbor just a few minute walk. However, we found that despite using the correct property name, Sea to See, the location shown on maps identified another Ble Oneira property- no where near where we actually were. This was a problem too for our hired transportation driver as his GPS kept taking us to the wrong property requiring the manager to meet us and guide us to the correct location. The actual location was too far for us to walk to breakfast or to town to meet our excursions and required us to hire cars at 25-40 Euros per ride, an unexpected expense many times over. We were late checking out and being picked up to meet our return ferry by a lost driver as well. There were minor concerns- the primary key entry was tricky- but was to be updated to a keyless entry; a single ceiling light in the bathroom made shaving and makeup application hard, and while there were 7 pillows on the bed, only 2 were non-decorative and usable for sleep. One of our group was greatly concerned by the 2 page instruction sheet outlining what to do in case of an appearance of a Milos viper.

Nice villa with a view on the bay, but unfortunately the experience did not fully live up to expectations, especially considering the high price. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for breakfast, which was appreciated.

The pool is much smaller than it appears in the photos, which was disappointing. The large terrace has no shade, making the outdoor table and living area practically unusable during the day, and there is also no shade for the sunbeds. This is particularly frustrating because the indoor living area is essentially just a sofa near the entrance, so the terrace is really the only space where a group can comfortably sit, relax, and spend time together. The coffee machine only uses pods that cannot be purchased on the island, we tried ever supermarket, which was extremely frustrating when we ran out of coffee.

Fantastic new property, very well appointed with quality fittings. Beautiful views of the harbour and surrounds.
